My name is Rene Tailleur.
I was born in St. Albert, and I graduated from the Design program at MacEwan College in Edmonton, AB with a major in photography. I work at the Edmonton Journal, and I’ve been shooting for a long time. Oh, no one seems to able to say my last name, so I went with… hey, Rene (dot ca)! We are steadily growing, and because we often shoot on location, we’re ready for anything.
Now, let me say this- I love weddings. I love seeing everyone all prettied up, and the proud parents, crying moms, beautiful bouquets, trying to express to the whole world how much the person next you means to you, all of it. Every wedding is special, and so much fun. I really do love weddings, and I (and my assistant, too) want you, and your family to say over, and over about how beautiful you look in your photos. If you want a photo in the snow, I’ll be there with you. I encourage experiments, and I enjoy trying out your ideas.
We do travel for weddings. My assistant, Jon, and I went out to a resort in B.C last summer. We loved it. It’s great to have some different scenery to work with. Location weddings in places like Banff, and Jasper are very well priced. If your wedding is somewhere exotic, or, if you’re eloping, depending on the time of year, we might be able to work out a really affordable deal. I have over 10 years experience with photography, and I’ve shot for some commercial clients such as the Alberta Museum Association, Monsanto Canada, and the Westin Hotel.
Thank you for visiting.
As she begins to build a catalog of her own songs, Kuney has also became a star on YouTube, with several videos of her performing competent cover songs. One of them is her rendition of Damien Rice’s “The Blower’s Daughter.” The highly-rated video prompted an invitation from Rice to join him in Iceland during a number of shows.
